A due date moves or the instructions grow: you see the old and the new.
One chat for all your classes, or just one. Answers come from your syllabus and course pages, with the line they came from.
Every date on one calendar, and study time placed before each exam.
Weights and dropped grades from your syllabus, done right.
See which sentences an AI detector might flag in your own essay before you submit, and which read like you. Runs on your computer and never rewrites a word.
Coursebird is built so that we couldn't look at your classes even if we wanted to.
Read the privacy policyThe full Coursebird on any computer: the list, the calendar, grades and class chats.
In betaConnects your classes in one click and keeps them in sync.
Coming to the Chrome Web StoreYour list and reminders in your pocket, with three for every exam.
Coming to the App StoreMost likely. Coursebird works with the course system used by most US colleges, and reads the same things you see when you log in to your school's course site, so your school doesn't have to set anything up.
It reads your classes' assignments, due dates, announcements, grades, modules and syllabus, each course's home page and Files list, and the text of your lecture files. It never sees your password, never opens a quiz or exam or other students' work on your school's site, and never submits, posts or changes anything there. Work in an outside courseware tool (such as Cengage MindTap) opens only when you ask about it in Coursebird's chat and confirm, and opening it can count as starting that activity.
Nothing you do in Coursebird appears on your school's site. When you sync, the extension reads your classes with your own login, the way your browser does when you open your course pages, so those reads look like your own visits. Coursebird never posts, submits or messages anyone.
Coursebird only reads what you can already see, on your own login, when you ask it to. It uses the calendar link your school's course site gives every student for apps like Google Calendar. Some schools have their own rules about outside apps; if you're unsure, your school's IT help page will say.
Yes. The list, reminders, calendar, grades and change alerts are free. If we ever add a paid option, it will be for heavier AI use, the price will be shown upfront, and it will never renew without asking.
On your own computer or phone. Our server keeps only your account (your email and a scrambled form of your password), never your classes or grades. You can delete your account and everything with it at any time.
